This is a small part of the American River as it runs through Folsom. It is amazingly beautiful and a source of pride for many people who live here. When I first moved to Sacramento in 1996, the American River and the Sacramento River became a couple of the best things about living here. The bike/running trails are endless, the parkway is amazing, and it is wonderful to see all the people who are able to enjoy the rivers that run through our city. Whenever I see the American River I am home; it always welcomes me.
